First Aid Kit Bio
First Aid Kit is a Swedish folk/indie duo made up of members Klara and Johanna Söderberg, who are sisters, and tend to perform alongside a band when performing live. They have been nominated for a Brit Award as one of the best international groups twice. In 2008, they gained some online attention for their cover of Fleet Foxes‘s “Tiger Mountain Peasant Song”, which got tens of thousands of view on YouTube. Their own original song, “Emmylou” was given the number 10 spot in Rolling Stone magazine’s “Single of the Year” in 2012. The duo has released four albums, as well as four EPs and several singles Their album, “Stay Gold” was listed among the 40 best folk albums of the 2010s list by Paste Magazine.
