Fit For A King Bio
Fit for a King is an American metalcore band that formed in 2007. Also known as FFAK, the band began with members Jared Easterling, Justin Juno, Alex Danforth, Aaron Decur, Jared McFerron and Jed McNeill. The band originally started in Texas where the band would perform locally and regionally while releasing two EP’s. In 2011, the band release their debut album, ‘Descendants’. By 2012, the band was recognised by Solid State Records, releasing their first studio album, ‘Creation/Destruction’ in 2013 and made it to number 6 on the Hard Rock Albums and also on the Christian Albums Chart at number 17. Fit for a King’s dark melodic hits led to a re-release of their first album ‘Descendants’ through Solid State Records and debuted at number 8 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart. Releasing three more albums, ‘Slave to Nothing’ in 2014, ‘Deathgrip’ in 2016 and ‘Dark Skies’ in 2018, the band is touring actively along with their new single, ‘God of Fire’. According to the band’s website, “the music and message of Fit for a King is a battle cry against the darkness”.
