Flobots is a Denver, Colorado-based alternative hip-hop band. The group members are vocalists Jamie Laurie and Stephen Brackett, drummer Kenny Ortiz, and guitarist Andy Guerrero. Former members include Jesse Walker and Mackenzie Gault. The band is well known for its genre fusion and poetic themes that include subjects like racism, tolerance, freedom, and social equality.
In 2007, Flobots published their debut album, Fight with Tools, and began performing at various events with Bad Religion, Metallica, and The Offspring. They have achieved international acclaim with their platinum hit Handlebars. Their second album, Survival Story, was published in 2010, and their third album, Noenemies, was released in 2017, focusing on issues such as climate change and immigration.
