Fontaines D.C. is an Irish post-punk band formed in Dublin in 2016. It consists of music college friends Grain Chatten (vocals), Conor Deegan III (bass), Conor Curley (guitar), Carlos O'Connell (guitar), and Tom Coll (drums). The quintet released a debut single titled “Hurricane Laughter” in 2017 and started touring shortly afterward. After gaining a reputation and a following for their live shows, their first full-length album “Dogrel” went out in 2019, featuring the singles “Boys in the Better Land,” “Chequeless Reckless,” and “Too Real”. This latter album prompted a worldwide tour, after which the band moved to Los Angeles to record their next effort “Hero’s Death”. This album came out in 2020 and featured the talent of producer Dan Carey.
