Forrest Griffin is an American mixed martial artist who competed in the UFC. He was born in Columbus, Ohio, United States, on July 1, 1979. Forrest began his professional MMA career in 2001 with a fight against Dan Severn under RSF. He made his UFC debut in 2005 with a win over Bill Mahood. He won the Light-Heavyweight title in 2008 when he defeated Quinton Jackson via unanimous decision. Throughout his time with the UFC, Forrest has fought against Tito Ortiz, Anderson Silva, Quinton Jackson, and Rich Franklin. Forrest has also acted in the films M4M: Measure for Measure, Locked Down, Unrivaled, 13, and I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell.
