Fortune Feimster Bio
Emily Fortune Feimster, better known as Fortune Feimster, is an American writer, actor, comedian, and producer best known for her work in film and television. She was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States, on July 1, 1980. She attended Peace College, Raleigh, North Carolina.
Fortune got started as a blog writer, consistently writing for over seven years. Then she moved to LA in 2003 to work as an assistant, also taking improv classes at Groundlings. She then fell in love with comedy and stand-up. She is known for starring as Nurse Colette on Hulu’s The Mindy Project in 2015. She is also known for her role in Fox’s Cabot College film and as Mary Joe on Mulaney.
Emily has worked with some of the most prominent female comedians including Chelsea Handler, Tina Fey, and Mindy Kaling.
