Fran Drescher was born Francine Joy Drescher on September the 30th 1957 in New York and is an American activist and actress. Known for her thick nasally voice and Brooklyn accent, she is best known for her role as Fran Fine in the hit television series The Nanny. A cancer survivor, the actress is a healthcare and LGBT rights activist.
With a career that began in the late 1970’s the actress came to attention as a character actress in films such as The Hollywood Knights, The Big Picture, UHF, and This Is Spinal Tap. More recently appearing in television shows such as Happily Divorced and voicing Eunice in all three Hotel Transylvania films, she continues to make her mark on entertainment to this day.
