Francesca Scorsese Bio
Francesca Scorsese is an Italian-American actress and director, born on November 16th, 1999, in New York, United States. Scorsese’s acting career was influenced by her family’s deep roots in the film industry. She began acting at 14. Even at that time, she had already seen hundreds of actors on set with her father, Martin Scorsese.
Francesca, at 22, has starred in three Academy Awards nominated films: Aviator (her debut picture, released in 2004), The Departed (2006), and Hugo (2011). All three films were nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards, with The Departed taking home the prize in 2006.
Francesca’s father, Martin Scorsese, handed Francesca her first acting ticket, in The Aviator, a movie he directed and brought in big names like Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Wahlberg, Alec Baldwin, Vera Farmiga, Jack Nicholson, and Matt Damon.
Francesca continues to pave her own path through having secured roles in TV Series, We Are Who We Are (2018), and movies like We Salute You (2018), Almost Paris (2016), and Wolf at the Door (2017).
