Franchesca Ramsey Bio
Franchesca Ramsey, also known as Chescaleigh, is a comedian, activist, YouTuber, and actress, who was born on November 29, 1983, in West Palm Beach, Florida, United States of America. She started her YouTube channel in 2007 and she has reached over 30 million reproductions. The popularity she earned because of her videos made her into the acting world. Her first acting job was in the 2011 movie “The One”. Since then, she stayed close to tv and film projects and in 2015 she became a panelist and writer on the tv show “The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore”, where she worked until 2016. Her biggest project, and the one which made her most famous, is the MTV series “MTV Decoded” which she hosted and worked alongside Jonathan Braylock and Stefan Schutte. The show aired between 2015 and 2020 and has over 80 episodes. In 2020 she co-wrote the TV special “Yearly Departed” with Karen Chee and Akilah Green for which they received a nomination at the WGA awards.
