Franck Kessie (born December 19, 1996 in Ouragahio, Ivory Coast) is an Ivorian professional footballer, best known for playing as a midfielder for La Liga club Barcelona and the Ivory Coast national team.
He began his football career with Stella Club d'Adjamé youth team in Ivory Coast in 2010, before he moved to Atlanta, Italy, where he established himself as a player for the club, before securing a signing with AC Milan. In 2015, he joined Atlanta and made his Serie A debut the same year, with 60 appearances and 10 goals. Two years later, he joined AC Milan and became an integral part of the team.
Through his career, Franck has won several awards. In 2020, he was selected as the Ivory Coast Footballer of the year and CAF African Best XI the same year. For the 2020-2021 season, he won an award as the AC Milan player of the season. In 2021, he won an award in Serie A for Goal of the month. On July 6, 2022, Franck signed a four-year deal with Barcelona until June 30, 2026.
