Franklin Gore Sr., known as Frank Gore, is an American retired football player who played as a running back in the NFL. He was born in Miami, Florida, United States, on May 14, 1983.
Frank spent his formative years playing for Coral Gables Senior High School and the University of Miami, and he turned professional in 2005 when he was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the third round of the NFL Draft. He went on to represent the Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills, and New York Jets, and throughout his time with the Jets, Frank played alongside Sam Darnold, Jamison Crowder, Henry Anderson, and Quinnen Williams.
