Frank Ray is a singer born on 8th January 1987 in Deming, New Mexico, United States. He relocated to Columbus, New Mexico, with his father at a young age. The move helped him to learn more about country music and ranchera music. He worked as a police officer in New Mexico from 2007 to 2017. He later retired from his profession as a police officer and started his music career. He released his debut EP “Different Kind of Country”, in 2018 through the moniker Frank Ray.
In 2021, he signed a recording contract with BBR Music Group and dropped his first single, titled “Streetlights”. That same year, he released another single titled “Country’d Look Good on You”. The single reached the top 40 on the Billboard Country Airplay charts. In January 2022, he performed on the Grand Ole Opry.
