Franz Rogowski is an award-winning German actor and dancer best known for his work in film and television. He was born in Freiburg, West Germany, on February 2, 1986. Franz began his acting career in 2011 when he appeared in the film Frontalwatte, but he became famous in 2015 when he was cast in the film crime-drama film Victoria. His filmography includes Undine, Transit, In the Aisles, Love Steaks, Luzifer, and Freaks Out, but he is best known for starring in the drama film Große Freiheit alongside Georg Friedrich, Anton von Lucke, Thomas Prenn, and Thomas Stecher. Franz has won multiple awards for his acting including a German Film Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role, a Guenter Rohrbach Filmpreis for Best Actor, and an award for Best Actor at the Venice Film Festival.
