Frederick James Carter, popularly referred to as Freddy Carter, is an actor, director, and writer born on January 27, 1993, in Plymouth, England, United Kingdom. His first experience as an actor came from a school play, and he made his debut acting in theaters. He is an alumnus of Oxford School of Drama and Queen's College.
Freddy is best known for his roles in Shadow and Bone (2021), Pennyworth (2019), and Wonder Woman (2017). In 2015, he was featured in the production of The Wars of the Roses, which Trevor Nunn directed. He landed his first movie role in 2017 as a soldier in Wonder Woman. In 2018, he starred as Ellis in the horror film The Convent.
Besides acting, Freddy enjoys photography. He starred as the main character in Channel 5 miniseries 15 Days and Netflix's Free Rein. He has worked with Elizabeth Olsen, Jessi Mei Li, Lily Collins, and Simone Ashley.
