Friend Within Bio
Friend Within is the stage name of British electronic music DJ Lee Mortimer, originally from Liverpool. He bursted into the UK electro house music scene around the mid-2000s, when he started releasing singles that became club hits in different labels like Cr2, and Carioca, before creating his own label, Warehouse Music. In 2013, he reinvented his image, by changing his name to Friend Within. He started working with Dirtybird label and he has made a name for himself since, releasing catchy songs like “Set You Free”, “Been a While” and “The Truth”. He has been resident at some clubs in famous partying cities like Ibiza and L.A. His musical signature involves a wide use of pop vocals and electro house beats. He has collaborated with Friendly Fires on the record “Offline”.
