Benjamin Garrett, better known by his stage name Fryars, is a London-based English art-pop musician. Fryars released his debut EP, The Ides, in September 2007 and was named "New Band of the Week" by The Guardian in November. In March 2008, a second EP, The Perfidy, was released. Dark Young Hearts, his debut album, was released in September 2009, and its first song, "Visitors," featured Depeche Mode's Dave Gahan on backing vocals. Fryars released the song "Love So Cold" online as a free download in October 2012, followed by the EP In My Arms on 679 Recordings in January 2013.
