Fuse ODG is the stage name of England-born musician Nana Richard Abiona, who was born in 1988 and has been making music since 2011. His true breakthrough, however, came in 2013 with the release of his debut single “Antenna”, which went to the #7 spot on the UK Singles Chart. He followed with his second single that year, “Azonto”, a track he made which describes a dance that is typically performed in Ghana. “Azonto” went to #30 on the UK Singles Chart, and later that year, he received the MOBO Award for Best African Act. After releasing a few other singles, including “Dangerous Love” with Sean Paul, he released his debut album TINA, which stands for “This Is New Africa” in late 2014.
