G.E.M. Bio
G.E.M., the professional stage name for Gloria Tang, is a singer and songwriter that was born in Shanghai, China on August 16th, 1991, and who currently resides in Hong Kong. She is known for her EP, also called G.E.M. which was released in Hong Kong in 2008. Known as China’s Taylor Swift, she won second pace in the chinese singing competition ‘I Am Singer’. Today, she holds the record for the most-watched YouTube video in mandarin Chinese, surpassing two-hundred million views and also the number of views on the videos by the Taiwanese star Jay Chou, who previously held the record. She was represented by Hummingbird Music but is currently wanting to end their affiliation.
