Kat Sketch (born October 6, 1988, in California) is a YouTube star. She is a makeup tutorial extraordinaire who transforms herself into recognizable characters using only cosmetics. She also frequently uses stop motion and time lapse techniques to show her unique art pieces coming together from start to finish.
She began her YouTube journey back in 2008, with her first art video being "Obama/McCain Bubble-Art." This marked the genesis of her social media presence as an artist and content creator.
Her most popular videos by far are creative makeup tutorials where she does transformations into characters like Anna from Frozen, the Grinch, and Shark Girl. Her makeup skills allow her to completely embody these fictional figures. She was featured in Cosplay Culture magazine in May 2015, highlighting her skills at cosplay through makeup.
She is a longtime friend of top YouTuber Shane Dawson, who convinced her to start her own YouTube channel and become an influencer. Having the encouragement of established creators like Dawson, she has been able to make waves.
