Gabriele Mainetti is a film director born on 7th November 1976 in Rome, Italy. He is widely known for writing, directing, producing, and starring in many films. He started his career in the film industry as an actor in the 1999 comedy film “Life Doesn’t Scare Me.” He made his directorial role in 2004 with the short comedy film “The Producer.” In 2008, he directed and produced the comedy-drama film “Basette,” which featured Valerio, Marco Giallini, and Daniele Liotti.
He went on to write and direct the short films “Love in Central Park” in 2010, “Tiger Boy” in 2012, and “Ningyo” in 2016. He directed and produced the feature film “They Call Me Jeeg” in 20016. In 2021, he also directed and produced the historical fantasy drama film “Freaks Out,” which starred Claudio Santamaria, Pietro Castellitto, and Giorgio Tirabassi.
