Galantis Bio

Galantis is an electronic electro house music project led by Christian Karlsson, who also goes by Bloodshy and Linus Eklöw, a.k.a Style of Eye. The duo is based in Stockholm, Sweden and their style is considered a fusion of electropop, big room house and techno. The duo met in 2007 and they had some collabs but they started seriously jamming together around 2012, when they started building their signature sounds with heavy drums and stirring keyboards. They signed to Atlantic Records a year later and in 2014 they released the singles “You”, “Smile” and “Runaway (U & I)” with the latter hitting the top 3 Dutch Singles Chart, as well as peaking at number 9 in the US Dance Singles Chart. The single got certified double-platinum by ARIA, gold by BEA and Platinum by BPI among many other recognitions. Together they released three albums “Pharmacy” in 2015, “The Aviary” in 2017, and “Church” in 2020. They have performed at all major electronic music festivals such as Coachella and Ultra Music Festival.
