Born in March 19, 1969, Gary Jules Aguirre Jr. or simply known as Gary Jules, came from Fresno, California. As a young child, Jules began playing his acoustic guitar without satisfaction. However, during his fifth grade, he rediscovered his musicality by learning to play electric guitar with John Lennon’s musical influence. In high school, Jules was joined by his friend Michael Andrews and together they formed the Origin.
In 1987, Jules started the band Kofi and continued until 1990. After Kofi disbanded, Jules formed Ourtown Pansies, which also broke up by 1992. By 1995, Jules joined the Greyboy Allstars, giving Jules the opportunity to find record deals. “Trading Snakeoil” is Jule’s first hit album with the inclusion of “Mad World” cover originally by “Tears for Fears.”
