Gavin Thomas Lux is an American professional baseball player who plays as a second baseman, shortstop, and outfielder in Major League Baseball. He was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, United States, on November 23, 1997.
Before making his Major League debut, Gavin played for the Arizona League Dodgers, Ogden Raptors, Great Lakes Loons, Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, Tulsa Drillers, and Oklahoma City Dodgers, and he was named Baseball America's Minor League Player of the Year. He debuted in 2019 with the Los Angeles Dodgers, and throughout his time with the Dodgers, Gavin played alongside Mookie Betts, Cody Bellinger, Freddie Freeman, and Clayton Kershaw.
