Taylor Gayle Rutherfurd (born June 10, 2004) is an American pop singer better known by her stage name Gayle (stylized as GAYLE). She signed with Atlantic Records and released the single "ABCDEFU" in 2021, which peaked globally, including number one in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Gayle was found by former American Idol judge and Arthouse music publisher Kara DioGuardi and signed to Atlantic Records after releasing several self-produced tracks.
Gayle released "ABCDEFU," her major-label first single with Atlantic, in 2021. It quickly became viral on TikTok and Spotify. The Billboard Hot 100 charted "ABCDEFU" at number three.
