Geddy Lee was born as Gary Lee Weinrib in North York, Ontario, Canada on July 29, 1953. He was a member of the band Rush. He also aso the recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2012. The year after, he was inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
He was a featured artist on Wireless’s No Static. He also made an appearance on the documentary Jaco. In 2000, he released the album My Favorite Headache which includes the tracks The Present Tense, Runaway Train, Grace to Grace, and Home On the Strange. In 1981, he also became the featured artist on Take Off by Bob & Doug McKenzie. He released the book Geddy Lee’s Big Beautiful Book of Bass.
