Actress Genevieve Padalecki, was born Genevieve Nicole Cortese on January 8th 1981 in San Francisco, California. Genevieve earned a BA in English and a BFA degree in drama from the Tisch School of the Arts. The actress took to the theater stage, performing in A Midsummer Night's Dream, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Crimes of the Heart, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Padalecki jumped into TV and movies, appearing in Death Valley, The Dead Zone, Kids in America, Unraveled, Bickford Shmeckler’s Cool Ideas, Life is Short, and Salted Nuts. Genevieve landed a recurring role in the TV series Wildfire, and went on to play the character of Ruby, alongside her husband Jared Padalecki, in Supernatural. Padalecki also appeared in Flashforward, and Hated.
