Geoffrey Scott Cameron, better known as Geoff Cameron, is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defender and midfielder in the world’s top leagues. He was born in Attleboro, Massachusetts, United States, on July 11, 1985. Geoff spent his formative years playing for Attleboro High School, Providence Country Day School, West Virginia University, and the University of Rhode Island, and he turned professional in 2005 when he signed with the Rhode Island Stingrays. Geoff has sone on to represent Stoke City, Houston Dynamo, Queens Park Rangers, and FC Cincinnati, and throughout his career, he has played alongside Ryan Shawcross, Jonathan Walters, Peter Crouch, Marko Arnautovic, and Steven Nzonzi. His career highlights include Major League Soccer Eastern Conference Champion, Dynamo Defender of the Year, and MLS Best XI.
