George Kittle Bio

George Kittle is an American football player born in 1993 in Madison, Wisconsin. He plays as a Tight End and made his whole professional career with the San Francisco 49ers. Born into a football family, he attended Iowa University and played for the Iowa Hawkeyes in the Big Ten Conference from 2013 to 2016. The year following his college season, he was drafted to the NFL by the San Francisco 49ers. In 2018 he qualified for the NFL all-star Pro Bowl championship. In 2020 he led his team to qualify for the 54th edition of the Super Bowl. Kittle broke the record for most receiving yards by a tight end in 2018. He received the Bill Walsh Award in 2019 from the 49ers coaching staff, and a year later he won the Len Eshmont Award.
