George Pușcaș Bio
George Alexandru Puscas (born April 8, 1996 in Marghita, Romania) is a professional footballer who is a forward for Serie A club Genoa and the Romania national team.
Puscas started his football career at Liberty Oradea, where he joined the youth system in 2008. He moved to Inter Milan in 2013 on loan and made his senior debut in 2015. He also played for various Italian clubs on loan, such as Bari, Benevento, Novara, and Pisa.
In 2018, Puscas joined Palermo. In 2021, Puscas moved back to Italy and joined Genoa on loan, with an option to buy. Puscas has also represented Romania at various youth levels. He made his senior debut for Romania in 2018 and scored his first goal in a friendly match against Guatemala.
Puscas is known for his poacher instincts, aerial ability, and powerful shots. He wears the number 37 shirt for Genoa and the number 9 shirt for Romania.
