Georgia Marie Stanway is an English professional soccer player who plays as an attacking midfielder in the top Women’s soccer leagues in Europe. She was born in Barrow-in-Furness, England, on January 3, 1999.
Georgia spent her formative years with the youth setup at Blackburn Rovers, and she turned professional in 2015 when she signed with their senior squad. She has since represented Manchester City in the Women's Super League and FC Bayern Munich in the Frauen-Bundesliga.
Her club career highlights include winning the FA Women's Super League, Women's FA Cup, and the FA Women's League Cup. Georgia began representing England at a U15 level in 2014, and she went on to play for the Under 17s, Under 19s, and Under-20s.
She made her senior debut for England in 2018, and she has since been a mainstay in the squad. In 2022, Georgia won the UEFA Women's Championship with an English side that also featured Beth Mead, Lucy Bronze, Ellen White, and Fran Kirby.
