Gerard Butler Bio

Born on November 13, 1969, Gerard James Butler came from Paisley, Scotland, UK. His parents are Margaret and Edward Butler. He studied at Glasgow University. He became the president of the school’s law society because of his social skills and outgoing personality. His acting started when he was approached by Steven Berkoff.

He then was included in 2001’s “Attila.” After that, he left college and went to join the stage adaptation of “Trainspotting.” His film debut was for 1997’s “Mrs. Brown.” He received a Certificate of Bravery from the Royal Humane Society after saving a young boy from drowning. He was also casted on some roles in movies like “Tomorrow Never Dies” and “Tale of the Mummy.”
