Gerónimo Rulli Bio

Geronimo Rulli (born May 20, 1992, in Buenos Aires, Argentina) is an Argentine professional footballer, best known for his role as a goalkeeper.

Rulli began his football career with the youth setup of Estudiantes, a local club in La Plata. He was promoted to the first-team squad in 2012 and initially served as a backup to Justo Villar and Agustin Silva. He got his opportunity to play as a professional on April 8, 2013, after Villar's departure and Silva's injury.

Throughout his career, Rulli has played for various clubs. He plays as a goalkeeper for Eredivisie club Ajax in the Netherlands. He has also represented the Argentina national team.

Rulli has received recognition for his performances on the field. In 2014, he was awarded the Ubaldo Fillol Award for his achievements in the Torneo Final. He was included in the UEFA Europa League Squad of the Season for the 2020-2021 season.
