Girl Named Tom Bio
Winners of The Voice Season 21, Girl Named Tom is an American folk band. Siblings Caleb Liechty, Joshua Liechty, and Bekah Liechty intended to go to medical school initially but decided to form a band to pursue their love for music. The band is named after Bekah whose nickname as a baby was Thomas. In 2019, they independently released the single, ‘Barrier Island.’ This was followed by the first EP, ‘Another World.’ Two years later, they released the second single, ‘Backup Plan.’ Their first official album was released in 2021. It was a compilation of covers titled, ‘Hits From the Road.’ After their victory at ‘The Voice,’ they were signed on by Republic Records with whom they released a holiday single, ‘No Snow for Christmas.’ Girl Named Tom also became the first-ever trio to win the show. The band is also hugely popular on social media, interacting with fans regularly.
