Coming from Washington D.C., United States, Girls Against Boys was formed in 1988. Their debut album “Tropic of Scorpio” was released in 1989 under Adult Swim label. 1995’s “Cruise Yourself” and 1996’s “House of GVSB” followed after which contributed to the group’s growing fortunes. They then signed under Geffen for 1998’s “Freak*on*ica” with higher sales but more negative reviews.
The badn went hiatus but returned in 2002 for the full-length “You Can’t Fight What You Can’t See” under Jade Tree label. The band broke up but was reunited for their Europe tour in February 2005. In 2013, they released the EP “Ghost List.”
