Glass Animals is a psychedelic pop and indie electronic band from Oxford, England. The band is led by singer-songwriter and producer Dave Bayley along with band members guitarist, keyboard and backing vocalist Drew MacFarlane, bass guitarist, keyboard and backing vocalist Edmund Irwin-Singer and drummer Joe Seaward. In 2014, the band released their debut album titled ‘Zaba’ with their hit single, ‘Gooey’. ‘Goeey’ became a hit single, becoming certified platinum in the U.S. and has garnered over 100 million plays on Spotify to date. With their indie-pop and electric fusions making their way globally, the band released their second album, ‘How to Be a Human Being’ in 2016, bringing them into mainstream success. The album won two awards at the 2018 MPG Awards for UK Album of the Year and Self Producing Artist of The Year. Even more so, the album led the band to a spot on the shortlist for a Mercury Music Prize. Known for their infectious tunes and wild, immersive live performances, the band has sold out shows around the world including Australia and countries around Europe. They have also been a part of string of big festivals such as Glastonbury, Laneway Festival, Falls Festival, Lollapalloza, Coachella amongst many others worldwide. Glass Animals recently released a new single titled ‘Tokyo Drifting’ featuring rapper Denzel Curry which has already amassed 22.2 million plays upon it’s release.
