Glassjaw Bio
Glassjaw is an alternative metal band from New York, where they do it harder. Singer Daryl Palumbo and guitarist Justin Beck came together in 1994 to form the band, which was nurtured along by producer Ross Robinson, who has also worked with acts such as ch as Korn, Slipknot, Limp Bizkit, The Cure, and Sepultura. Their debut album came in 2000 with “Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Silence” released on Roadrunner Records.
Glassjaw has had a number of line-up shuffles, but along with the two founders it currently has Travis Sykes (bass) and Chad Hasty (drums). Their latest album is “Material Control” (2017). Like many bands in the niche genre of alternative metal, charts are not so important to the group’s success as touring and fan devotion.
