Gocho “El Lapiz de Platino” Bio

Gocho “El Lapiz de Platino” is a Puerto Rican writer and producer of reggaeton and urban music. He was born into a family that was very involved in music. His grandfather owned Los Hispanos de Puerto Rico, which is one of the most renowned quartets in the country. His father was a great trombonist, his brother is a member of a band, and his aunt sang as backup for many popular artists. When he was 19, Gocho was enrolled in medical school but he then joined a friend who is a musician and decided to pursue a career in music. The second most popular song is 2012’s “Amor Real,” which featured Wayne Wonder.
