Good Times Ahead Bio
GTA, acronym for Good Times Ahead, are an American electronic music duo formed in 2010, in Miami, Florida. The duo consists of electronic music producers and DJs, Matt Toth and Julio Mejia. They started their career by performing as DJs at local venues, and by self-releasing tracks under the name GTA. In 2011, they started releasing tracks under MixMash Records, and they got noticed by Diplo, who featured them on his EP “Express Yourself”. The duo released their own debut EP a few months later, called “ People Boots”. They have performed at major electronic music festivals like Lollapalooza, Coachella and Made In America. In 2013, they toured alongside Rihanna, opening for her Diamond World Tour and a few years later, they toured alongside DJ Tiesto and Calvin Harris. They released their debut studio album “Good Times Ahead” in 2016, which got very popular. They have done remixes for several artists including Lana del Rey and Skrillex.
