Graves is the stage name of the Hawaiian electronic music producer, engineer, and DJ Christian Mochizuki. He became well known in 2010 after working as an engineer on the Kanye West’s Grammy-Award winning album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Mochizuki has also worked on albums for the artists Justin Bieber, Big Sean, Kid Cudi and others. In 2013 he formed the electronic music group OOF. The group won the 2014 EDC Discovery Project. After OOF disbanded Mochizuki started releasing music online under the stage name Graves. In 2017 he released his debut EP titled Hilo that featured collaborations with the artists Hex Cougar, Lil Traffic, Boombox Cartel and more. He has also released the singles “Glass Hearts”, “Im Fine”, “Easy” and others.
