Greg James Bio

Gregory James Al an Milward, known as Greg James, was born on December 17th, 1985 in Lewisham, South East London. He is a famous English radio DJ and television presenter and hosted the drivetime show on BBC Radio 1. At the University, James broadcasted several shows on the students’ union radio station Livewire 1350AM. Before working at BBC Radio 1 in 2007, he presented various breakfast shows on Future Radio in Norwich and Pulse rated in Salhouse. In 2005, he won the “Best Male Presenter” at the Student Radio Awards.

At BBC Radio 1, he presented for the first time a show and his first record was Hometown Glory by Adele. In 2009, he replaced Edith Bowman on an Early Afternoon slot, and for the first time, presented a TV show for BBC Three called Sun, Sex and Holiday Madness. James appeared in the Doctor Who series as a non-speaking cameo in 2011 in one of the episodes. Since, he has been presenting several shows among which is BT Sports Cricket with Michael Vaughan, Rocky Ponting, and Graeme Swann in 2016.
