Greg Laswell Bio
Born in April 26, 1974, Greg Laswell came from Long Beach, California. In the early ‘90s, he moved to San Diego to study in college. By then, he was exposed to the music scene of the city and was involved to perform for a local band Shillglen. He also found All the Rest Records. The band disbanded in 2001 leaving Laswell ample time to write his very own music. His solo debut “Good Movie” was released in 2003. All the Rest Records closed after a year, and he opened “20 Inch Records” where Laswell worked as a producer.
The album “Good Movie” became successful that he was able to land a contract with Vanguard Records. His sophomore album under Vanguard was entitled “Through Toledo” released in 2006. The album earned him a spot on the Hotel Café’s European tour.
