Greta Thunberg Bio
Greta Thunberg is an environmental activist based in Sweden. Greta attained massive popularity around the globe through her video about humanity facing the problem because of climatic changes. She is famous for her bold and youthful speaking skills whether in the political aspects, assemblies, or in public. She initiated the climatic change strike during her school days in 2018. She won an essay writing competition in 2019, her essay was published in a newspaper after which Fossil Free Dalsland connected with her and showed their interests in making a climatic change. In 2019, Greta got a chance to be the editor of BBC Radio Flagship. She has given two great speeches at the World Economic Forum, Switzerland on January 21, 2020. She attended the panel discussion conducted by the New York Times as well. She had also been to the Environmental Committee of the European Parliament to discuss their climate law on March 20, 2020. Greta has received several awards, her recent ones were the Human Act award, and Gulbenkian Prize for Humanity, in 2020.
