Grupo Manía is a music group from Puerto Rico. The group was founded in 1993 by brothers Hector, Alfread Cotto, Edwin Serrano, and Oscar Serrano. The group has seen some members join and others leave. They released their first studio album “A Bombazo….Si!” Their second album “Explotó el Bombazo” was released the following year. The group’s third album “Dance Mania” was very successful. The album contained the hit single “Como Me Haces Falta”.
They dropped their fourth studio album “Esta de Moda” on 10th December 1996 under the Sony Discos record label. The album, which contained 10 tracks, topped the Billboard Tropical Albums chart. It also reached number 9 in the US Top Latin Albums chart. Their last album under the Sony Discos, titled “Masters of the Stage” was recorded in 1999. Other albums released by the group include “La Hora de la Verdad” in 2005, “Sep Pego la Mania” in 2009, “Poderoso” in 2013, and “La Marca” in 2013.
