Guns N’ Roses Bio

Coming from Los Angeles, California, Guns N’ Roses was formed in 1985. It is an American metal, hard rock band known for their breakthrough hit “Sweet Child O’ Mine.” The band was often compared with the likes of Aerosmith and the Stones. Their lead Axl Rose sang about drugs, sex and apathy which made their music known in the American stage.

Guns N’ Roses first EP was in 1986, followed by their full-length album “Appetite for Destruction” the following year. They didn’t instantly become famous until MTV played their song “Sweet Child O’ Mine” which resulted to going straight to the top spots – both for the song and album.
