Gus Dapperton Bio

Gus Dapperton is the stage name of the American singer and songwriter Brendan Rice. He was born in Warwick, New York in 1997. He is signed with the label AWAL. Rice started releasing music under the stage name Gus Dapperton in 2015. He is known for his unique brightly colored clothing and bowl cut. In 2017 he released his debut EP titled Yellow and Such. The next year he released his second EP titled You Think You’re a Comic!. Dapperton went on tour after the release of You Think You’re a Comic! to support the album. In 2019 he released his debut studio album titled Where Polly People Go To Read. His song “Of Lacking Spectacle” was featured in the second season of the show 13 Reasons Why and appears on the soundtrack album.
