Guus Meeuwis is a Dutch singer-songwriter and Instagram personality who was born on March 23rd 1972 in Mariahout, Noord-Brabant, Netherlands. He was born in a monastery in Mariahout, Netherlands and he has a brother named Marc Meeuwis.
Guus is well known as a member of the band Vagant and also Guus Meeuwis & Vagant. The duo released the album Verbazing in 1996. Guus rose to fame winning the Gouden Harp and an Edison Award in 2006. His release Wijzer sold over 70,000 copies. Some of his recent singles include Was jij maar hier (2020), Echte mannen (2020) and Net als dansen (2021). He is popular on the photo sharing app Instagram where he has over 150,000 followers.
