Guy Bio
Guy is an American hip hop, R&B, and soul group formed in New York City, New York in 1987. The current members of the group are Teddy Riley, Aaron Hall, and Damion Hall. They were signed to the label Uptown Records and released their debut self-titled album Guy in 1988. The album charted at number 27 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart, number 1 on the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart, and was certified double platinum by the RIAA. They have since released the albums The Future and Guy III. Both albums charted on the Billboard 200 Albums chart and the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart. They have also released two compilation albums. The group has released their music and albums through the labels Uptown/MCA, MCA, and Hall of Fame/Universal.
