Hail the Sun Bio
Hail the Sun is an American post-hardcore band formed in Chico, California in 2009. The current members of the band are Donovan Melero on lead vocals and drums, Shane Gann on lead guitar, Aric Garcia on rhythm guitar, and John Stirrat on bass guitar. The band was formed in 2009 while the members were in college together. In 2010 they released their debut studio album titled POW! Right In the Kisser. They have since released the albums Wake, Culture Scars, and Mental Knife. They have also released the EPs Elephantitis and Secret Wars. The band has released their music through the labels Equal Vision and Blue Swan Records. They have toured with a number of other bands, including Circa Survive, I the Mighty, Silverstein, Dance Gavin Dance and others.
