Haloti Ngata was born Etuini Haloti Ngata in Inglewood, California on January 21, 1984. He was the first round, the 12th overall pick of the Baltimore Ravens during the 2006 NFL Draft. In 2015, he joined the Detroit Lions and then proceeded to team up with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2018.
He was named as a Pro Bowl participant from 2009 to 2013. However, he was not able to join in 2012 because he participated in the Super Bowl. In 2013, he decided not to play because of personal reasons. He joined the Super Bowl XLVII – Baltimore in 2012.
Ngata went to the University of Oregon and played for the Oregon Ducks football team. He was named as a member of the All-Pac-10 second team in 2004 and the All-Pac-10 first team in 2005.
