HANA is the stage name of the American singer, songwriter and record producer Hana Gabrielle Pestle. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia on July 11, 1989. Pestle received her first guitar in 6th grade and throughout middle school and high school took voice lessons. At 14 years old she started performing. In 2008 she released her debut EP self-titled Hana Pestle. She released her second EP Live in the Studio and her debut studio album This Way in 2009. In 2011 she released her third EP titled For the Sky. Pestle started using the stage name HANA in 2015 and released her debut EP under her new stage name in 2016 self-titled HANA. She has also been featured on the songs “We Appreciate Power” by Grimes and “When U Call” by BloodPop.
